The team
Frannie
Station Manager
I'm Frannie, co-station manager, social media manager, and an Ancient and Classical Studies major. I'm a music fanatic and my taste ranges from all decades and countries. In every moment I am able to, I'm listening to music- I love soft acoustic music with poetry for lyrics, music inspired by mythology and history, doo-op groups, songs that swell into a strong brass section, disco, and impossible violin concertos. I have a women's music show and a classical music show where I love to inflect my music taste upon unassuming listeners.
Jason

WECI Mission
Poppins is a spirited and standout font that takes its inspiration from handwriting. It's sure to grab your reader's attention, especially in short paragraphs.
It is the mission of WECI to entertain and educate its audience of Earlham and the greater Richmond area by providing innovative, diverse, and high-quality radio programming. It aims to appeal to a variety of audiences reaching across age, taste, and background. WECI also aims to serve as a unique opportunity for students and community members, by offering the opportunity for them to operate a radio station and/or become disk jockeys.
WECI Alums
"I've had a rewarding and satisfying career in public broadcasting, but never as much fun as learning the ropes at WECI!"
Barbara Howard ‘78
WECI and my Earlham education launched my 40-plus year career as an award-winning radio journalist. I owe my success to WECI.
Howell Gatchell ‘69
WECI gave me a sense off community and responsibility that anchored my time at Earlham. My college experience wouldn't have been the same without it. Plus, it was really fun.
